Unveiling the Euston canvas hoardings/artwork convened young people across Euston and Regent's Park Estate that worked together with artists in order to create two murals which have been put on two hoardings of the Euston/HS2 development. The project was initiated and facilitated by MA Service Design students from London College of Communication working with the T-Factor team from the University of the Arts London. The young people involved contributed to the artworks through a series of workshops coordinated by Fitzrovia Youth in Action association. The hoardings were installed by MACE Dragados, the lead constructor for the HS2 development. The unveiling of the hoardings was part of a wider set of engagement activities promoted by the Euston Partnership. The project was an action research into what is required to support local residents to be able to make use of meanwhile opportunities, in this case the Euston hoardings. Learnings from this process are now feeding into the establishment of a process for inclusive and equitable access to hoardings around the Euston development.
